GO KIDS — Grow. Explore. Discover.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Interim version — under legal review

These Terms have been updated to reflect how GO KIDS works today: a free directory, with no bookings or payments taken through the platform. They are currently under review by our lawyers and may change before they are finalised. If anything here is unclear, contact us at info@gokids.pt.

1. Who we are

GO KIDS (gokids.pt) is operated by ENREDO GENTIL LDA (“GO KIDS”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Portugal, NIF 519423097, based in the Cascais area.

2. What GO KIDS is — and isn’t

GO KIDS is an online directory of children’s activities, classes, camps, parties and related services in Portugal (each a “Provider” or “Vendor”). We help parents discover Providers and get in touch with them directly.

GO KIDS is not a booking platform. We do not take bookings, we do not process payment for any activity, class, camp, party or service, and we are not a party to any agreement between a parent and a Provider. Any booking, payment, cancellation, refund, or complaint about an activity is between the parent and the Provider directly, on whatever terms that Provider offers.

3. Using GO KIDS as a parent or visitor

  • Browsing the directory is free and does not require an account.
  • An account is only needed to subscribe to the newsletter.
  • When you contact a Provider found through GO KIDS, any resulting agreement is between you and that Provider only. GO KIDS is not responsible for the activity itself — its quality, safety, price, delivery, or any dispute arising from it.
  • Some listings display a “Verified” badge — see section 5.3 for exactly what that does and doesn’t mean before you rely on it.

We ask Providers to keep their listings accurate and remove listings we know to be false, but beyond the mandatory-verification categories in section 5.3, we do not independently check every detail of every listing.

4. Your account

  • Provide accurate information when you create an account.
  • Keep your login details secure and tell us if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
  • You can delete your account at any time — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.

5. Listing as a Provider / Vendor

5.1 Eligibility and accuracy

You may list on GO KIDS if you lawfully provide a children’s activity, class, camp, party or related service in Portugal. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything on your listing — description, photos, pricing, location, contact details and category — and for keeping it up to date.

5.2 Subscription tiers

Listings are published under one of three tiers:

  • Free — standard listing (description, contact details, 3–5 photos); 1 published activity; appears in search and category browse; voluntary Verified badge available at no extra cost.
  • Featured — everything in Free, with up to 5 published activities.
  • Premium — everything in Featured, with an unlimited number of published activities.

Pricing for the Featured and Premium tiers is not yet published. We will confirm prices here before either tier becomes available to buy.

5.3 Verification

  • For Childcare Centres, Medical & Health Professionals, Transport Services, and Residential Camps, verification is mandatory: your listing does not go live until we have received and reviewed your supporting documents, including, where applicable, your Certificado de Registo Criminal para fins especiais de proteção de menores.
  • For every other category, verification is voluntary. If you submit documents and we confirm them, your listing shows a “Verified” badge.

What “Verified” means: we confirmed that a document was presented to us. It does not mean GO KIDS has assessed, endorsed or guaranteed your suitability, competence or safety, and it is not a substitute for a parent’s own checks.

Your subscription tier never affects whether your Verified badge is shown or how it is displayed.

5.4 Compliance and safeguarding

  • You confirm that you comply, on an ongoing basis, with all Portuguese law applicable to working with children, including Lei n.º 113/2009 (as amended), where it applies to you.
  • You are solely responsible for holding any licence, registration, insurance or certificate your activity requires — for example, IPDJ registration if you organise a holiday camp.
  • You must tell us promptly if anything on your listing becomes inaccurate, or if a safeguarding concern is raised about you or your activity.

5.5 Approval and removal

  • Every new listing and every vendor account requires our approval before it goes live.
  • We may decline, suspend or remove a listing or account — including for inaccurate information, a failed or lapsed verification, a safeguarding concern, or a breach of these terms.
  • We will give you a written reason when we decline, suspend or remove your listing or account, except where we reasonably believe doing so could put a child’s safety at risk.

5.6 Billing

Featured and Premium are not yet available to purchase. This section describes how billing will work once they are.

  • Featured and Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, as you choose, and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

5.7 Changes to your subscription terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects your subscription — price, features, or the ranking rules — we will give you at least 30 days’ written notice by email before the change takes effect, and you may cancel without penalty during that notice period.

6. What GO KIDS does not do

  • We do not vet every Provider beyond the verification described in section 5.3.
  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or suitability of any activity listed.
  • We do not process, hold or guarantee any payment between a parent and a Provider.
  • We are not liable for any loss arising from your dealings with a Provider found through GO KIDS.

To the extent permitted by law, GO KIDS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or from activities arranged with a Provider found through it. Our total liability to you in respect of any claim shall not exceed the fees you have paid to GO KIDS in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Intellectual property

The GO KIDS name, logo and website content belong to ENREDO GENTIL LDA. By listing with us, a Provider grants GO KIDS a licence to display the text, photos and other content they submit for their listing, and confirms they own or are licensed to use it — including confirming they hold any necessary consent for photos of identifiable children.

8. Safeguarding concerns

If you are worried about a child’s safety in connection with a Provider listed on GO KIDS, contact us immediately at info@gokids.pt.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and for how long we keep it.

10. General

  • These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under applicable EU law.
  • We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always available at gokids.pt/terms. Changes affecting a vendor’s subscription follow section 5.7.
  • If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
